The journey of Bluerank and Prowly comes to a happy ending

Investment in a startup often is considered risky and insecure. Nevertheless, it might be a high-rewarding move for a company. Today we are proud to announce that Prowly– a Polish-based startup, fostered by Bluerank, has been acquired by SEMrush, a leading online visibility management and content marketing SaaS platform. We’re saying goodbye to Prowly and looking forward to the new investment on the horizon!

Cooperation between Bluerank and Prowly started in the year 2015. At that time Bluerank began to strengthen its content marketing competences, hand in hand with active research of solutions to managing PR activities in one place. At the beginning of 2016, Bluerank became a Prowly stakeholder, supporting the startup in the field of SEO and sponsored links. Currently, Prowly is a key player on the market and enjoys the trust of global brands. Has one of the highest ratings for digital PR vendors on G2 and Capterra software review websites and is a cash flow breakeven at over US$ 1 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR).

Bluerank believed in us and helped at the beginning of our journey. As a result, we could focus on developing our product and scale our business. Now it is time for the next stage, given the global aspirations Prowly has. Thanks to the technologies offered by SEMrush in the field of competitive intelligence, we can provide the PR industry with a completely new and fresh perspective on PR measurement.

Apart from the business aspect, the company supports industry in the region, as a part of its CSR activities. During the pandemic, it initiated a project called “Save local business” and gave a helping hand to all firms in need. 28 business entities received a total of 100.000 PLN donations.
